Sprinter metamorphosis

by | Aug 29, 2014 | Fauna & Flora, In the Garden

By taking regular photos of my garden for this blog I am learning faster than ever about what happens here. I have become more observant and hence can now see changes that I have never documented or noted before. For example the rose in the pot on the corner of one of my garden beds has grown 10cm in length over a three week period and a rose bud now appears.

A small axillary bud has formed from which a stem and flower will grow.

Three weeks later there is 10cm of growth.
