Chestnut Harvest Yeeeppyyy!

Please Join us ORTO Farm and Tumpinyeri Growers in Blampied for a simple seasonal social chestnut harvest!
Bring gloves and excellent walking shoes as we will stomp on the burs to release the seeds.
Chestnuts can be used for flavouring simple pasta dishes, for making a sweet Nutella like spread, for eating by the fire like chips, to make a creamy soup or they can be roasted with meat…there are endless possibilities because chestnuts are sweet and divine.
The chestnuts are being sold for $10 a kilo, in 1/2 a kilo or 1kilo lot to make payments easier.
Please bring correct cash as we will not have change on the day: hence please bring either a $10 or $5 dollar note so that we can easily pay Josh from Tumpinyeri Growers.
Come to ORTO Farm and we will make our way to Tumpinyeri Growers. Bring your children, your grandparents, your favourite aunt, your neighbour and your lover! Or just bring yourself! LGBTQI welcome!
